A New version of Orpheus

Orpheus is the King of Thrace. He and his people like to sing and play music. But, one day he was playing music with an instrument called a liar. Orpheus played the music so beautiful that one day in the forest a tree opened up. Inside this tree was a beautiful woman called Eurydice. After that Orpheus took the girl to his people and they got married. One day Eurydice went into the forest and a really hairy man with the legs of a goat started to chase her and she started to yell Orpheus. When Orpheus heard the screams he went running to see what was going on but he was to late a snake had bitten her. So what Orpheus did is, he went into the underworld and tried to get the king of the underworld to let his wife go with him but he said no. So what he did is play his music to see if that will make the king give him his wife back and he did. But, he said to Orpheus you can never look back to see if she is following you or not. So he never looked back until they reached the upper world and when he did she went back to the underworld and stayed there forever. So when Orpheus returned to his people he told them that there never going to play music ever again. The people started to get angry so what they did is that, they killed Orpheus. THE END

    Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar was one of the most important Rome leaders. He was chosen because the Senates did a poor job in running the republic so the Romans wanted a strong leader. Caesar got recognized by the success he had in the battlefield while he was governing. When the senates knew that Caesar didn't follow orders he told Pompey and his army to attack Caesar. But, Caesar won the fight. When the Romans heard about this he got even more powerful. So, in 46 BC they elected him as a dictator of Rome. On March 15, 44 BC the senators were so mad that an angry mob of 60 senators stabbed him to death. This is why Julius Caesar was so important.
